  106. The installation procedure for Backer 2.99 is simple:
  107. First you must decompress the archive (ZIP type) to a directory of your
  108. choice. Then copy BWCC.DLL into your Windows system directory (usually
  109. C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\), but only if you do not have a newer or same version
  110. already. You will need about 750 kByte of available disk space on your
  111. hard drive.

  113. If you downloaded Backer 2.99 from a BBS, or received it in the form of
  114. archive files from some other source, you will need to perform the
  115. following step:
  116.  
  117.    Extract the contents of the archive file in a temporary directory on
  118.    your hard drive. The procedure for doing this varies, depending on the
  119.    form in which you received the package. In all likelihood, the fact
  120.    that you are reading this text means that you already have the
  121.    necessary tools and knowledge to perform this step. If not, you should
  122.    be able to obtain directions for this from the same source from which
  123.    you received the package.
